Faith Milestones

The church coming alongside families to help equip and encourage parents in passing along their faith.

  • Baptism Beginnings - For new or expecting parents

    September 22 & 29, 2019 and April 19 & 26, 2020 at 9:30am

    Parents will be given tools to begin practicing faith-at-home and are equipped to write and say a blessing to be used daily.

  • Preschool - For parents of children ages 3-5

    January 26 & February 2, 2020 at 9:30am

    Parents and students will learn about: worship with a preschooler, how to have family worship time, and keeping God's Word in their heart.

  • First Bible - For parents and 2nd graders

    October 20, 27, and November 3, 2019 at 9:30am

    Second graders receive a full Bible that parents help "customize" with highlighted verses and a special blessing.  They learn how to use their Bible individually and as a family on a regular basis.

  • Preteen Retreat - For 5th/6th graders and same gender parent

    March 21-22, 2020

    For 5th and 6th graders and same gender parent/guardian, we run a retreat for one night to discuss "God's Plan for a Man" (father/son) & "God's Design for His Daughters" (mom/daughter).

  • 7th/8th Grade Confirmation

    August 21, 2019 - April 29, 2020 at 7pm on Wednesdays

    Students attend a weekly class, learning the six chief parts of Luther's Small Catechism, while having fun along the way.

  • Graduation - For high school seniors and parents

    March 1, 8, & 15, 2020 at 9:30am

    Together we will reflect on the years and events past while looking ahead to the next chapter of life for graduating seniors.  We will also look at how to succeed in the next phase of life with friends, finances, and faith.

  • Grandparenting - For grandparents of any age and stage

    November 10 & 17, 2019 at 9:30am

    It is never too early or too late to speak into your grandchildren's lives and point them to Jesus.  Come to discuss the Biblical side of grandparenting, the value in blessing your grandchildren, and practical ideas for intentionally passing on a legacy of faith.
